'Teachers in movement'
Training for kindergarten teachers
Date: 16 de novembre
Where: L’Estruch. Sabadell
Price: 15 €
How do you create actions, movements and situations that make sense for 0 to 3-year-olds? Which are these actions? The choreographer Karstein Solli will help us find some key words that will lead us to live essential physical experiences that approach the way in which children discover themselves as humans in their own play. During the workshop we will work with different objects and with elements that will facilitate communication with the children (craft tissue paper, clothes that can be used as an extension of our own bodies, etc.).
Karstein Solli is an artist, choreographer and lecturer of the Bachelor’s Degree in Dance and Choreographic Thinking at the Høyskolen for Dansekunst/University College of Dance Art in Oslo (Norway). Since 2009 he is also the artistic leader of Seanse, an art production centre in Volda (Norway). He graduated as a teacher of children’s education and has studied acting and mime at the École Jacques Lecoq in Paris (France), at the Desmond Jones School of Mime in London (UK) and at the State School Theatre in Amsterdam (Netherlands).
Solli’s artistic works are not easy to classify, as they stand in an intersection between dance, theatre and show. His performances and artistic expressions range from dance for 0 to 6-year-olds to theatre and dance for adults.
